Jang Dong-il (장동일)

Dong-il, meaning same one or equal to, is one of the leaders of DKB and the second oldest member of the group. He was born on February 15th, 1998 and is a main vocalist, lead dancer, and acrobat.

D1 is from Jangsa-dong, Sokcho, Gangwon-do, South Korea, has a sister and older brother, and attended Sokcho High School and then the Korean Academy of Arts.

D1 announced as 2nd member of DKB.

Before debuting with DKB, D1 was briefly a member of the group Pureboy for about 6 months in 2016. On October 31st, 2019, D1 was announced as the second member of DKB. In addition to leading DKB with E-Chan, D1 works primarily on the group’s songwriting and choreography.
